The Hunt Museum Docent programme may be for you!

Do you love to tell—and listen to—a good story? Is "meeting people" your idea of a good time? Are you the unofficial tour guide for your friends and family? If so, then consider becoming a docent at The Hunt Museum!
 
What is a docent?
The Hunt Museum docents (from the Latin docere meaning ‘to learn’) are Museum volunteers who a few hours of their time to The Hunt Museum each week to contribute to learning in The Hunt. 
 
The Hunt Museum's Docent programme is unique in Ireland and our friendly and enthusiastic team of more than sixty volunteers is a key part of The Hunt's welcoming and exciting programme for visitors. Thousands of people —from local communities, across Ireland and around the world — benefit from docent-led activities each year.
