An informal discussion with artists featured in Curator’s Choice, where they will discuss their artistic practice.
For the month of June, Curator’s Choice is Nathalie El Baba.

Join us in the Captain’s Room on Friday June 29th, to learn more about her artistic practice.
Nathalie El Baba draws from her experiences of different places and different peoples.
She is influenced by the narratives of peoples lives that she meets, and also from her own history of migration. 
Her subject matter is concerned with movement and connection, both within the physical and emotional landscape. 
Nathalie was born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1971. During the civil war her family moved to England. Based in Ireland since 1990, she has been living and working in Co. Clare for many years.
Nathalie received her BAAD from GMIT in 2012, and a Certificate in Youth Arts from NUI Maynooth in 2013. She has been involved in the arts all her adult life and works full time as both an artist and art tutor and facilitator.
