Volunteers

Become a Volunteer at the Hunt Museum!
The Hunt Museum docents (from the Latin ‘to learn’) are Museum volunteers who give four hours of their time to the Museum a week. Docents give guided tours to Museum visitors, are involved in the Museum education programmes and are encouraged to research objects in the collection. Docent training consists of a lecture series from October to May which gives background information on the artefacts in the museum, training workshops and outings. Guidance is also provided by more experienced docent mentors. If you would like more information, please contact the Curator of Education and Access at 061-490080 or email education@huntmuseum.com.
