Culture Night at the Hunt Museum has something for everyone: 

Nautical fun based on the Ilen voyage in our interactive very child-friendly exhibition – learning to knot ropes, haul sails, make paper boats and race them from the O’Halloran bridge. There will be Gandalows in the Garden and Limerick photographer Deirdre Power to tell you about the exhibition’s portraits of the men who rebuilt the Ilen. You can also get your face painted or a temporary tattoos to become a seadog or mermaid. Live music with performances from Hands in Harmony, Comhaltas Garraí Eoin, and Sea Shanties with Róisín Ní Ghallóglaigh. We have a soapbox from Limerick Underground Speakers Corner is open to anyone who wants to get up on the box and make their voice heard and International Living Statues to surprise and entertain.

Tickets will be available from information desks at the Hunt Museum form 5pm on September 21st and will be issued on a first come first served basis.
