Brass jug

Description

A brass, fluted jug resting on a foot. It has a long, broad spout and a large decorative handle, using a scale design on the outer face. The jug bears a coat of arms underneath the spout. This consists of a crowned helmet with two feathers on either side over the shield. A band divides the shield in the centre with a five petalled flower on the right-hand corner and a leaping animal, possibly a deer or goat, on the left.
