Description

Photocopy of sketch, with title "Favourite" written in the front together with the annotation "Favourite dress as 'Gentle Atmosphere' goes with this (navy wool)". The sketch shows a double-breasted, belted, wrapover coat. There are five rows of two buttons. The full-length sleeves are set in. There are set-in seam pockets. The model is shown wearing a fringed scarf around the neck. There is a fabric sample of navy and mustard coloured wool tweed stapled to the photocopy. ('Gentle Atmosphere' is HM 1999.13.016.)
