Find place is named as Beyrut, Syria; photocopy of paper by Dirk Brandherm and Ronan O Flaherty entitled 'Prodigal Sons: two "halberds" in the Hunt Museum, Limerick, from Cuenca, Spain and Beyrut, Syria' published in the 'Journal of the Royal Society of Antiquaries of Ireland' (Volume 131, 2001). The two halberds discussed in the paper are the present object and object with registration number HCA 696.
