Description

Exterior black and white photograph of a model wearing a two-piece outfit (blouse and skirt). The skirt is in peacock blue silk with a blouse of pleated linen. The blouse is referred to as "Patience" in Spring/Summer 1955. A yellow post-it note is stuck to the back of the photograph on which is written "Harpers Bazaar March 1956 P.90" in red ink and "Skirt in peacock blue silk satin, the blouse pleated Irish linen edged with Irish croched [sic: crocheted] lace. Photographer Richard Dormer". Also written on the back of the photograph is "Sybil Connolly NGI IR Text March 1955 Sekers silk satin skirt blouse linen with lace". The photograph is taken on location and shows the model with a greyhound dog. This photograph features in Harpers Bazaar (UK edition), March 1956, page 90 (see HM 2002.23).
