Amulet of Wadjet Eye
Description
This fragment of an amulet of Wadjet Eye is made of carnelian. Similar examples are dated to the 2nd millenium BC. Amulets such as this one represented the healed eye of the god Horus, it embodied healing power and the idea of rebirth.
