Chisel/ pick (possibly)


A chisel or pick with asymmetrical faces, pointed butt and rounded sides. The edge is damaged and the blade area is flat on one of the faces. The faces are ground and polished and relatively regular with one or two large remnant flake scars. The butt is chipped in the centre. It has a plano-convex cross-section. Found at Lough Gur, Co. Limerick.
