Flint scraper

Description

A Neolithic flint scraper, grey/white in colour, with two sharp edges and a rounded point. This scraper was found in Ballymena, Co. Antrim.

Provenance

File of material relating to a flint scraper. Includes photocopy of object description sheet which includes sketch of object (date unspecified); photocopy of notes which contain similar descriptive remarks about object including sketch (4 August 1998). These notes are by Geraldine Critchley, archaeologist. Both documents state that this object was found at Ballymena, county Antrim.
