Axehead
Description
A bronze socketed axehead with one loop. It has an oval mouth with an out-turned rim. There is a raised rim running vertically around the neck of the axehead. The cutting edge is only slightly splayed. Each face has five raised vertically ridges. This axehead was found in Ireland.
