On A there are annotations "Sketch I", "not unlike sketch II which you have had before, but it is crossover and side fastening, with a slightly deeper frill at end. This sketch is waisted but it can be loose as Sketch II. Could be done with self frill, or while pleated been piped black" and "long sleeves". On B "Sketch I" is written in biro. A full-length wraparound dress with a full skirt and close bodice with fitted short sleeves. There is a deep frill around the neckline which continues down the leading edge and around the hem of the skirt. The dress is tied at the waist.
