A stone jar or pyxis. It is spherical in shape with two sting holes and a thin sloped rim. Possibly Egypt.

File containing material relating to a hardstone pot with two small handles. Includes photocopy of information card with photocopy of image of object (date unspecified); annotation on this document states that the object is possibly an Egypt jar with two sting-holes and that it may have had a lid. Also present is report by conservator who carried out a treatment on the object (25 January 1997).
