A bronze socketed axehead with one loop. It has a deep collar which is splayed outward at the mouth. There are two slightly flattened panels one on each side of each face. These run from below the collar to the edge of the blade. The blade edge is badly damaged. This axehead was found in Dundrum, Co. Louth.
