Pyx (communion box)
Description
A pyx in silver, which is cylindrical in shape with a flat lid. The lid is inscribed with the letters IHS and a cross. The base is inscribed with the letters N.H. This pyx is the work of Larry Martin of Kilkenny. A pyx is a vessel in which consecrated bread is kept.
