Design sketch, Winning Hand
Description
Sketch on board, with title "Winning Hand" written in blue biro on the tracing paper attached to the board. Annotation of the number "3" in pencil. An above knee-length collarless dress. The short sleeves are set-in. The skirt is gathered beneath the bust. A smaller sketch of the back view of the dress shows the centre back seam from neck to hem and a buttoned tab stretching across the back waist. Hollingworth Board (C. Roberson & Co. Ltd., London).
