Cross (Reliquary)
Description
A gold reliquary cross with a lid, which is decorated with the symbols of the Passion. The cross is hinged and fastened with a screw at the bottom. The interior of the lid bears the dates 1838 and 1888, probably referring to a golden jubilee and paper inscribed with the names of saints and a cross. The cross also bears the initials V.B. and J. O C. inscribed on sides of main body. The letters V.B. seem to be a later addition and cover the other initials. There are two loops at the top.
