Sculpture, Balthasar (one of the three kings of Cologne)
Description
A figure sculpture of Balthasar (one of the Magi, apparently buried in Cologne). There are still traces of the original polychrome remaining. The figure is carved as wearing a turban, a long cloak, a belted tunic and breeches. Possibly German.
