Tankard (Schnelle)
Description
A blue green tankard with a lid and handle with a scrolled end. Celadon-glazed ceramic with gilded mounts on the foot, lid, mouth rim, handle trim and there are two side strips. The mounts are decorated with incised chevrons. On the lid there is an animal with a scrolled tail. ?South Netherlands.
