Photocopies of design sketch, Orchid and Grand-daughter

Description

Two photocopies of sketch, with title "Grand-daughter" on photocopy A written in blue biro on the front of the sheet and "Orchid" typed on the front of photocopy B. Also annotations on photocopy A, "self-piping" in red biro, "pleated linen" in blue biro and "1850" in pencil. A fabric sample of red pleated linen is stapled to photocopy A. A full-length, fitted, strapless dress. The skirt of the dress is made up of panels separated by vertical piping. The fabric appears to be pleated linen. The model is shown wearing evening gloves.
