Pharmacy jar
Description
An albarello or drug-jar in maiolica. It is a tall waisted jar decorated on the front with a swag, flowers and foliage in green and yellow. In the centre there is scrolled decoration with a lion rampant within an oval. The back is decorated with a blue floral motif (alla porcellana). This is one of pair. Sicilian, possibly Trapani.
