Kundika / Funerary vessel
Description
A Kundika or funerary vessel with a white glaze. A Kundika is a water bottle traditionally used in Buddhist purification ceremonies and has its origins in India. It has an almost globular body and a tall slender neck surmounted by a flange top with a tapering nozzle which is decorated with a series of horizontal bands.
