Stained-glass oval panel
Description
A stained-glass roundel showing a tree, perhaps an oak, with three distinct layers of leaves and branches rising from the trunk. An inverted horse-shoe-shaped object hangs from the lower branches on either side of the tree. The initials A and T are present to the left and right of the tree. This is the monogram of Antoon Tsgrooten, Abbot of Tongerlo Abbey (village of Westerloo) in Flanders (Belgium) from 1504-1530.
