Axehead
Description
A shale axehead with irregular pointed sides, an asymmetrical blade and irregular butt. The faces are irregular along the sides due to numerous remnant flake scars. The blade and faces are ground and polished. The blade area is regular but damaged on the right hand side. It has an oval pointed cross-section.
