Provenance

File of material relating to a wooden figure of a female saint, either Saint Catherine or Saint Barbara. Includes photocopy of object description sheet including sketch of object (date unspecified). Refers to Craggaunowen Castle, county Clare, and object was probably displayed there for a period of time; photocopy of photograph of object (date unspecified); postcard (c. 1990) with colour image of figure of Saint Barbara held by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; colour photographs of figures of Saint Barbara (different object to the aforementioned) and Saint Catherine of Alexandria (c. June 2001) held by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. Accompanied by notes briefly describing these objects.
