Axehead (portion)
Description
A Neolithic shale axehead with the edge-end only being presented. The sides are rounded and parallel in plan with the edge heavily chipped and worn. The faces are flat with a clean, oblique break across the centre of the axe. The piece is from Camas, Co. Limerick.
