Description

The head of the statue of Prince William Augustus Duke of Cumberland. (1721- 1765) By Cheere of London. It is crowded with wreath of laurel leaves. This head is made of lead. The statue and pillar were erected c.1747 following Battle of Culloden. The statue was cracked and was taken down c.1915.
