Description
This is a walrus ivory plaque showing two figures. One is Christ crucified and the other is Synagoga. The head of Christ is leaning to the right resting on the right shoulder, most of the right arm is missing. The loin-cloth is knotted on the left with the folds dipping almost to the ankle on the right side. The figure of Synagoga is veiled, dressed in long robes and is holding a jar.
