Photocopy of information card with photocopy of image of object described as a scorpion. However, annotation in hand of Michael Holland, Registrar, Hunt Museum, states that this is not a scorpion but either a lobster or crayfish. Also, that the body and legs are articulated. A second annotation (22 January 1997) states that a docent (name withheld), Hunt Museum, commented that the Victoria and Albert Museum has a very similar object which has been dated to 1880 and is said to be from China.
