Description

A plain gold ring with flat edges, one of six. All are approximately the same size and none has any marks/engravings etc. The rings were found in Co. Cork.

Notes that the rings were found in county Cork; photocopy of photograph of rings (date unspecified); transcription of text of label used to describe objects in foundation building display (c. 1996); printout from website (2 February 2005) which comprises character sketch of William J. Knowles, collector of antiquaries. Annotation states that present objects came from the Knowles collection.
