Corpus (crucifix figure)

Description

A crucifix figure in painted ivory. The hair is long and dark, the eyes are closed and there is a crown of thorns on his head. The arms are missing and the feet are nailed together. There are trickles of blood on the chest and feet. The loin-cloth is short and draped in V-shaped folds gathered to a narrow point at the sides from which folds hang down.
