Album, Original sketchbook

Description

A sketchbook which contains sketches, mostly photocopies, designed by Sybil Connolly, together with fabric swatches. It has a bold red and orange flowered cover on which "News Cuttings" is embossed. Inside the front cover is the annotation "Boutique" written in pencil. The first sketch is "Artichoke", a copy of which is stuck to the page together with two swatches of fabric. Most sketches in the book are accompanied by fabric samples.
