Mother-of-pearl corpus on an ebony cross
Description
A corpus made of mother-of-pearl on an ebony cross. The figure of Christ has the head leaning to the right of the figure and the feet are nailed together. The knees are bent at an acute angle and are not attached to the cross. This indicates that the present cross is not the original. The loin-cloth is short and sections of it are swirling around the body.
