Includes photocopy of object description sheet including sketch of object (date unspecified); photocopy of cover of publication which shows similar badge in use on a horse (date unspecified); photocopy of extract from publication by John Cherry entitled 'Medieval Decorative Art' (British Museum Press, 1991) which treats of heraldry as decoration and contains images of similar objects; photocopy of extract from unnamed publication, perhaps 'Heraldry for the Local Historian and Genealogist' by Stephen Friar (Alan Sutton Publishing Limited, 1992) which discusses horse pendants.
