Description

A white hard-paste porcelain figure representing Ottavio from the Commedia dell Arte. The piece was modelled by Franz Anton Bustelli. Ottavio is dressed in 18th century costume and stands with his left leg in front of his right, his left hand on his hip, his right hand to his mouth and his head turned to the right. The piece was modelled by Bustelli at Nymphenburg, Bavaria. The Nymphenburg pottery continued in production after death of Bustelli.
