Bronze corpus
Description
A bronze corpus with a large head and hands. The figure has a crown of three fleurons and a decorated brow band. The loin-cloth is long and decorated with rigid rectangular decoration. There is a central ornamented fold below parallel incised ornament. This is repeated on either side where it appears to emerge from beneath the ribs. The feet are separated now from the rest of the figure. Possibly Hiberno-Viking.
