Silver tureen
Description
A silver tureen with a large domed lid with a broad rim and heavy flat-topped knob in the centre. It is decorated with a flat chased floral design, floral decoration is also used on the foot. The handles are in the form of two mermaids. They have scrolled tails and are drinking from vessels. Possibly German.
