Do you like talking to people? Would you like to tell them about Limerick and welcome them to the Hunt Museum? Are you also someone who is pretty organised and good at organising others? We have a new part time position for you. We are looking for some work experience and a lovely attitude towards the world.
You will work on the front desk of the Hunt Museum lunchtimes from Wednesday to Friday and Saturday and Sunday afternoons, where you will welcome visitors, issue entrance tickets, give out information about the Hunt Museum and Limerick and make sales for the Gift Shop In addition you will be responsible for a range of administrative duties from managing suppliers to managing our mailing list.
You are likely to have some retail experience, have used an EPoS and are familiar with IT platforms such as Excel/Google Sheets, Word/Google Docs & Google Drive very strong people and interpersonal skills. You will be interested in working in a museum. You may be a student looking for a part time job or a parent with kids at school or who finally left home or just someone looking to do something useful for the Hunt Museum and Limerick.
The position is initially contracted for two years, with a view to permanent employment.

Pay grade & salary: The salary will be awarded according to experience within a scale ranging from €13,300 p.a for 24 hours per week (€22,000 p.a FTE) to €15,000 for 24 hours per week (€25,000 p.a.FTE). Holidays are 21 days excluding public holidays.
The job is 24 hours per week, with some weekend and evening work.
