Design sketch, White Washed

Description

Sketch on board, with title "White Washed" written in pencil on the front of the board. Annotation "same widith as collar also sleeve band" written in pencil on the tracing paper attached to the board. A knee-length coat with band collar, fastened with six buttons down the front and welt pockets at either hip. The raglan sleeves are full length and have banded cuffs. There are lines of stitching on the pocket welts, the waist, down the opening edge, on the collar and around the tabs at the cuffs. A smaller sketch shows a collarless sleeveless dress with two inverted pleats in the front of the skirts.
