Description

Photocopyof sketch (HM 1999.13.030), with the title "Sketch IV". Includes annotation in biro "This could be done in black also". A full-length dress buttoned from neck to hem (four buttons in the bodice and six in the skirt). There is a bow at the waist. There is a frill around the neck. The sleeves are set in and full length with a frill at the wrist. There is a deep frill at the bottom of the skirt, there are no buttons on the frill. A smaller sketch shows a back view.
