Photographs of design sketch, Irish Moss

Description

Three photographs of sketch, with title "Irish Moss" written on the front. On the back is the stamp in green ink of "Deegan-Photo Ltd., 31, Lr. Leeson St., Dublin. Phone: 66320. Reprint Order No. R66-4115". A full-length evening dress with a full skirt. The fabric is pleated linen set in horizontal panels separated by piped seams. There is a large bow at the waist. The bodice has a round neckline with a pointed collar. The elbow length sleeves are set in. A dress of this design, but without the collar, is in The Hunt Museum (HM 2002.103).
