Photographs of design sketch, Gentle Atmosphere

Description

Two photographs of sketch (HM 1999.13.016). "Gentle Atmosphere" is written on both in biro. A fabric sample of navy blue colour which appears to be wool worsted is stapled to one photograph. The fabric is navy blue in colour. A three-quarter length dress with short set-in sleeves. The bodice detail is seamed so as to appear like a bolero shape. The skirt falls in the front from this detailing and at the back the skirt is attached at waist level to the bodice. There is a centre back seam in the bodice.
