Welcome to ‘Lockdown with Limerick Artists’ through which three art activity packs have developed by the Hunt Museum in collaboration with Limerick based artists. These aim to bring some creativity, colour and fun into the lives of children and families during this challenging lockdown period. Thirty local artists have contributed to this initiative and the Museum would like to sincerely thank each one of them for their generosity.
If you would like to obtain printed copies of these packs, FREEPHONE Limerick Covid-19 Community Response on 1800 832 005 or email email@example.com
We have recently created a children’s Art Gallery on our website. If your child would like their artwork to be displayed here, please share your photos on social media tagging in @HuntMuseum. Alternatively, you can email them to firstname.lastname@example.org

Lockdown With Limerick Artists II
The second edition of Lockdown with Limerick Artists has been developed in collaboration with Contact Studios Artists. It was shared on Friday May 15th. Learn about this collective of artists by reading their statement below.
100+ artists worked in Contact Studios from 1997-2017 on the grounds of St. Joseph’s Hospital, making art while also providing teaching hours and time for Le Chéile/Limerick Mental Health in return for studio space. As a group we continue to seek and advocate for artist work-spaces and opportunities in Limerick City, and promote the value of culture for all. We hope to re-establish working studio spaces in the future as a resource, both for artists and the public, and welcome proposals to further our goal.
Contributing artists; Carl Doran, Luci Lane, Anne Marie Morrin, Nuala O’Sullivan, Isabella Walsh, Vivienne Bogan, Hugh Mc Mahon, Stephen Murphy, Ciaran Nash.
Sincere thanks to our past and current members for their work on this pack of activities! We hope it is good fun for all ages, and can be easily done with materials you have around your house. We look forward to a time when we can all be back together again!
