Artists throughout history have investigated and explored these contexts and in today’s world of turmoil and changes these issues have become very pertinent to how contemporary artists create and engage with our changing world.

The work created by the Painting students convey a sense of compassion and engagement with the facts of our everyday life and the textures of the lived experience. The Hunt Museum becomes a generator of ideas for the students and this year the painted panels and posters communicate relevant issues related to friendship, family, animal welfare, folklore, mass consumption, gender, the absurd, nationality, religion, dreams, and the natural world.

Prints and artworks on display will be available for sale.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to support emerging artists and take home a piece of original work inspired by Ireland’s cultural heritage.
