About this workshop
Join us for our next Creativity for Wellbeing workshop where we will weaving willow with artist Rose Hanley!
Part I – 11.00am -12:40pm
In Part 1, we will discuss how creativity supports our wellbeing and mental health. We will:
- Explore what the term “creativity” means and the wide range of creative activities available.
- Gain an understanding of the important role creativity has in enhancing our sense of wellbeing and improving our mental health.
- Identify the potential barriers to creativity and explore ways in which we can build in creativity to our daily lives.
- Start a creativity planner to help us get started, whether it’s learning something new or revisiting an old hobby.
12.40pm to 1.00pm – Break (Complimentary tea/coffee will be provided. Please feel free to bring a sandwich)
Part II – 1.00pm – 2:15pm
Part II enables participants to get hands on with creativity. This session will focus on Willow Weaving. Artist Rose Hanley will facilitate this session. No experience is necessary.
