Calling all primary school artists! Join the Friends of The Hunt Museum Colouring Competition and show us your creativity around this year’s inspiring theme, Peace and Harmony, reflecting the museum’s 2025 focus.
Use your imagination to bring our ceramic rabbit figure to life — a symbol of unity and balance. The winning masterpiece will receive a Friends of The Hunt Museum Family Pass, perfect for future museum visits and creative adventures!

Easter Chick Hunt
Happening all Easter Break!
Get ready for an egg-citing adventure with our Easter Chick Hunt! Explore the museum’s galleries and spot the hidden chicks tucked among the exhibits. Once you’ve found them all, head to the prize station to collect your chocolate treat!
This fun, interactive trail is suitable for all ages — especially our youngest explorers. It’s a delightful way to make your museum visit extra sweet and memorable.
Guided Tour of the Hunt Museum Collection

Discover the stories behind one of Ireland’s most fascinating private collections. Join our expert guides for an insightful guided tour of the Hunt Museum, exploring the Hunt family’s legacy and their deep connection to Limerick.
Highlights include works by Picasso, Renoir, and Jack B. Yeats, medieval religious art, historic jewellery such as the Mary Queen of Scots Cross and Charles I’s seal, and treasures from the Sybil Connolly Collection, showcasing her iconic Irish textiles.
