About the event
Join Dr. Aoife McLoughlin, Lecturer in Psychology at the Department of Psychology, Mary Immaculate College, for this interactive workshop exploring how what we wear (from outfits to tattoos and jewellery) reflects and shapes identity, confidence and belonging, both socially and within ourselves.
Drawing inspiration from the Sybil Connolly Collection, this session considers the deeper meanings stitched into our wardrobes.
This workshop will involve creating a moodboard of images using fashion/style imagery. Participants are therefore encouraged to bring along magazines/pictures from which they might draw fashion inspiration.
