Limerick Wild Geese Festival

Join us in commemorating the historical episode of the Flight of the Wild Geese and celebrating the longstanding friendship between Ireland and France!

The Living History Camp

Saturday 5th July @ 12pm

An afternoon of animations including historical reenactments at the Hunt Museum Garden.

An afternoon of animations including historical reenactments from En Garde (the Society for Franco-Irish History), a dance performance by Scoil Uí Ruairc, a traditional stick fighting demo and singing by Brian Moloney and the Saint Mary’s Mens Shed, live music by the Saint Mary’s Prize Band, the Limerick School of Music and from traditional musicians (courtesy of Conradh na Gaeilge, Craobh Chathair Luimnigh and Fóras na Gaeilge).

New this year, there will be crêpes by Bon Appétit Crêperie and a barbecue in partnership with the Hunt Museum Café!

Annual Hunt Museum Pétanque Tournament

Tuesday 5th July @ 11am

Great prizes to be won including the Tournament’s Perpetual Trophy!

Teams of three players, register by emailing info@huntmuseum.com.

This event is free but pre-booking is compulsory.
