Riverfest 2023 in Limerick City. Limerick becomes a mecca for families, foodies, and the culturally curious during the May Bank Holiday. The Hunt and Museum Garden are focal points of the festival. Events and Activities include:


Eco Showboat Demonstrations & Workshops

The Eco Showboat will be docked at The Hunt Museum all weekend.


School of Looking. An Art Expedition on a solar-powered electric vessel along the Shannon, connecting communities.

2.30pm Talk by School of Looking Artists, Anne and Denis 

2.30pm – 5pm Meet the Invertebrates – Rachel O’Malley shows you some of the little creatures that live in our waterways, and Helena Brady tells you about endangered species, invasive species and other problems facing fresh water environments.

3.00pm Talk by Kevin Wallace, Chelsea Canavan and Deirdre Power
